WEEK 5

As I stumbled and bumbled my way through the #greyzone, I somehow managed to string together another really positive week.  With fatigue levels well under control under moderate load, the cycle of the week is working really well for me.

Even managed to claw back a little more lost TSS along the way with 1267 points for the week.

In my job as a full time professional endurance coach, nothing gives me greater pleasure than watching athletes give their best and get the reward. To have 5 start and 5 PB on the weekend was such a buzz.  Why I say that on my athlete blog, is I, like you, am affected by what happens in the workplace, and when you have a positive week 'on the tools' you can't help but be pumped 'off the tools', so to speak.

This week is another step up (mild), in training volume and intensity with some testing mixed in, then a rest week to follow.  If you get a kick out of watching other people in pain, then I highly suggest you take a look at this weeks video.

So far, I've accomplished 98% of what I set out to do, but feel like I've got 98% of work to do.  A long way to go, and building nicely.

Thanks for engaging on social media, it's great to have people share in the journey, especially those in my AG at Kona.  Sharing is caring.
