WEEK 14


​Amazing way to finish off the 3rd block in this preparation for Kona 2017.  A great result at Ironman 70.3 Bintan with an AG Win and 7th Overall.  Great affirmation that things are heading in the right direction.

​In a strange sort of a way the training takes a 'back seat' given the result, however another 24 hours, 1400 TSS and 100km running week, it's fair to say I hadn't tapered for the race! haha.

​Although 1400 TSS and 24 hours seems like nothing compared to 35 hours and 2100 TSS!

​Another deposit in the memory bank, nice hot and tough race to give me confidence heading into the final month or so of prep.  

​Hopefully I can continue to avoid the "greyzone".
