MALAYSIA 70.3 PRE RACE

FORECAST PMC CHART

THE BUILD AND THE STRATEGY

It's nice to put that helmet sticker back on, it's been over a year.

Changes have been made.  My body shape has certainly changed, much more strength focus, in 2014 Kona I raced at 68kgs, here I am 63.8kgs... I didn't intend to lose weight, in fact I only weighed in once.  Power:weight @ 5.2w/kg

The build is done, and has been done well.  I not only feel it, but the charts don't lie.  I'll let the CTL fall slowly to around 130 post Malaysia, and then pick it back up again towards Sri Lanka.

For the race - a cunning strategy for the swim, my full attention on a dynamic bike course and the usual ROTB.

With mechanical luck, my bar is high aiming for 1st age grouper and setting a new course record.  If I can maximise my preparation then this is achievable on the day.

The first race of the next 6 years.  Let's see how the post race reads.
