1.SHARE WITH US ABOUT THE MONTHS BEFORE YOU STARTED WITH KOA SPORTS, IN OTHER WORDS LETS GIVE CONTEXT AROUND HOW FAR YOU’VE COME
Had been doing Tri for 18 months prior to starting with KOA. Definitely had a passion to do well, but no idea about training structure (particularly cycling and running). This would lead to big inconsistencies, meaning I was constantly doing too much or too little.

2.SHARE WITH US ABOUT YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR COACH AND WHY YOU THINK THEY’VE MADE A DIFFERENCE
Knew Tim from certain group training sessions and also from him constantly beating my ass in the Gatorade endurance series. It was clear he was talented as an athlete and also new how to train… and therefore could teach me a lot. In that way, it panned out as I expected.

3.WHAT HAS SURPRISED YOU MOST IN YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS?
Speed and scale of improvement. Development of confidence on the bike

4.WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENTS TO DATE?
Winning AG Cairns IM and qualifying for Kona.

5.HAS KOA SPORTS CHANGED YOUR EXPECTATIONS OF WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE?
Yes. Initially I had hoped to qualify for Kona one day. Now I feel like this is a repeatable achievement. My long term goal has therefore shifted to wanting to consistently improve Kona performances over the medium to long term.

6.IF SOMEONE WAS TO ASK YOU… SHOULD I JOIN KOA SPORTS, WHAT WOULD YOUR ANSWER BE AND WHY?
Definitely do it. They not only help you to realise your goal, but that you can (and should) continue to dream bigger and set your bar higher. They’ll get you trying things you didn’t think you could do, or that you wouldn’t enjoy.
